UNFAILING
REMEDY ©
Haven’t
you helped me enough?
It seems I have that sense;
As my life looks to your reflection,
More than being in the present tense.
Even God gives us room for breathing,
In our body, our spirit, our mind
And blesses our efforts
accordingly
As we wander freely trying to find
What
is eternal amidst the mortal,
What is sacred amidst the profane;
Teaching us by a special journey
There is nothing in this life that is the same;
We must walk our pathways
individually;
Solitary is the final goal;
No one helps us find peace
As we gather ourselves
in the end,
In the depths of our soul.
So
I will look less to your presence,
As sin gives perspective to grace
And I will count it as heavenly nourishment
That God
is for us creating His space.
Now that is an air worth inspiring
And an aid that will never get stale
And a person whose presence
is always a blessing
And a remedy that never will fail.
